Way back in 2020 some sweet regulars requested a smaller size of cake. They were celebrating a birthday and still wanted a special moment, just on a smaller scale.

The mini size was here to stay & six years later it’s still the best-selling mid-week size ♥️ here’s some mini cakes of late

Edible flowers & foliage. We only need 24H notice. You can order in advance using the date selector online. If you miss the deadline it’s worth giving us a call as sometimes we bake extra. Feeds 4-6 people & ofc we have bigger cakes if you need.

Collect or have it delivered 7 days a week

Double Chocolate - chocolate sponge & dark chocolate meringue buttercream. Will sway any choc cake naysayer

Sunshine - banana, coconut, carrot, pineapple & pecan w cream cheese

Sicilian Lemon - fluffy lemon soaked sponge, chantilly cream, lemon curd & white chocolate meringue buttercream

Vanilla & raspberry - bespoke design w colours & squiggles

Summer Dream - current seasonal special - cherries & blackcurrants baked in the sponge, layered w lemon curd mascarpone. Not here for much longer

When people say “high sugar,” they often mean donuts, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, cake and pastries. Most of those foods get around half their calories from fat. Hardly anyone overeats spoonfuls of plain sugar.

Sugar isn’t uniquely fattening. Fat gain comes from eating more energy than you burn. For example, in one study two groups ate the same calories, but one got 121 g of sugar a day and the other 12 g. Both lost about 7 kg in 6 weeks and saw similar improvements in blood pressure.

The real issue is calorie-dense, hyper-palatable fat + sugar foods, because they’re less filling and easy to overeat. Sugary drinks are the one exception as liquid calories don’t fill you up much, so they add up fast (aka just have the zero calorie soft drink instead of the sugary one).

Obviously the above doesn’t mean sugar should make up half your diet. Most of what you eat should still be whole foods, with plenty of fibre, protein, fruit and veg. But if your calories are in check and your diet is mostly good, you don’t need to fear sugar.

Good morning! I’ve been listening to this song ‘Reliquia’ by ROSALIA a lot lately. In it she talks about how we leave a little bit of ourselves in the people we meet, and the places we visit. But she also sings about how renewal, resilience, and the ability to begin again after losing parts of yourself. In summary we are all but a living relic of the experiences that shape us !!!

Today is the day of my press conference as Miss International Indonesia, and I am proud of who I have become, after evolving from the woman that I once was. With every thought and prayer, my wings spread even wider, allowing me to fly higher.

Bravo to the organizers @shoemakerlive for showcasing Borobudur in all her majestic and mystical energy bathed in spectacular lighting. Yang gengges cuman yang bolak balik, telponan berisik ngatur yang belum dapat tempat duduk, dan yang berdiri blocking the view. We still have some things to learn about being a respectful audience.

But not even that managed to dim the ambiance of complete beauty.

Reminiscing to the days my late Meme (a seriosa singer) would sing whilst playing the piano the exact songs the Maestro himself sang that night.

Tis was not planned. What began as a random girls’ trip turned into an opportunity of a lifetime as we celebrate nearly 3 decades of friendship with besties @bysarah27 @glitterglees @mirna_macuisine @darieyanti @ellanasution missing @sabriakono @ellindaleonita hopefully next girls’ trip kumplit.
