I’ve never been to the Smoky Mountains, or Dollywood. Maybe one day I’ll be able to go. But the pictures I have seen is absolutely beautiful.

I am so proud of my mom. She has always worked harder than anyone I know, always putting herself and her own needs last. During her time at DOI, I witnessed her bring an incredible humility to her position that had never been experienced by that (or any) department before. She knows that personal connections matter, and her empath spirit has always helped her to be a great leader. Everything she does, she does with her whole heart. And throughout this campaign, as each one before, she has stayed fierce through criticism and doesn’t waver from her mission: to make life better for everyone under these extreme conditions. I think she was chosen for this path just as much as she chose to step up to the plate, and to go to bat for our people and our beautiful state. Please go vote. We need people in every corner. 💌
