Happy Halloween 🎃

Been a little quieter on here lately 🤍

It’s been a challenging few weeks for us, with lots going on behind the scenes. We’ve been putting all our time and energy into getting our main man back on his feet and I’ve been spinning all the plates ❤️ So socials have taken a little back seat while we navigate it all! ( miss you all SM! 🥺)

First time I’ve properly worn make up today in weeks to go out for some Sunday lunch with my family 🫶🏼

Taking each day as it comes, but hopefully finding our feet again soon 🥰 Lots of love & can’t wait to catch up properly, we’re 1 week post surgery and we’re just about finding our groove of the rehab and recovery life 🫶🏼

But for now it’s chief nurse, chef, pharmacist, ice maker, shower assistant, personal chauffeur and just about every other job title you can think of 😂❤️ All in the name of getting our main man back on that pitch! 🏉 xxx

🍗 Psst! Who fancies homemade Nando's-style chicken without spending ages in the kitchen? 😍

If you're short on time but still want something packed with flavour, these juicy Peri Peri chicken tenders with a buttery Nando's-inspired sauce are an absolute winner! Easy to make and perfect for a midweek meal. ❤️

For the chicken:

- 500g chicken tenders or fillets
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp peri peri powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp nigella seeds
- 3 tbsp Nando's Peri Hot Marinade

Mix everything together and leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.

To cook:

Pan method: Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add the chicken, cover and cook over a medium heat until cooked through and most of the moisture has evaporated.

Oven method: Place the chicken on a foil-lined baking tray, drizzle with oil and bake at 180°C for approximately 25 minutes, or until fully cooked.

For the buttery Peri Peri sauce:

- 40g butter
- 2 tbsp single cream
- 3 tbsp Nando's Hot Peri Peri Sauce
- 3 tbsp Nando's Lemon & Herb Sauce

Melt the butter over a low heat, stir in the cream and both sauces. Heat through for 2 minutes, then pour generously over your chicken.

Serve with spicy rice, naan or a portion of chips. Honestly, you can't go wrong! 😋
