Amazing pictures. Love taking pictures at the Vanderbilt! We used to leave 2 miles down Route 9 from there. I would run through the Roosevelt estate trails down along the Hudson to the Vanderbilt trails and home. Stunning properties.

Formula One is a pain in the ass for the people who actually live and work in Las Vegas. Weeks of construction, blocked access, traffic nightmares and grandstands taking over the Strip. What does that mean for the mom-and-pop business waiting for customers? The Uber or Lyft driver stuck in traffic? The restaurant employee worried about their next shift? Officials love talking about economic impact. I want them talking about WHO gets that money and who pays the price. A successful weekend for a luxury suite doesn’t automatically mean a successful month for the people keeping this town running. Small businesses have reported millions in losses tied to race disruptions. They deserve to be heard, too. If we’re committing public tourism dollars to this event, show us the full accounting: the benefits, the costs, the lost business and the impact on workers. Las Vegas is a community, not just a television backdrop. When do the people who live here get the same consideration as the millionaires and billionaires? Make Vegas Vegas Again.

Go for a long walk, take some photos and enjoy the views. 📍 Silsoe, Bedfordshire, MK45 4HR - Parking on site. - Take a train to Flitwick, then a taxi for the remaining four miles.
