In Matthieu Livrieri’s paintings, everyday life becomes a poetic realm. Gardens, houseplants, kitchens, courtyards and familiar architectural settings come together in lush compositions, where colour transforms the most ordinary places.
Through a free, sensitive and deliberately naïve approach to figuration, the young French artist casts an intimate yet wonder-filled gaze on his surroundings. Vegetation takes over the space, perspectives jostle against one another, and familiar objects become the silent protagonists of an intensely vibrant world.
