you are never alone. even when you solo travel. you will find friends who love you. they will be happy to take your handstand photos & videos. you do not need to hire a male photographer for $300 to take photos and videos of you when you have the diarrhea from hell. you will take immodium, charcoal, pepto bismol, and s. boulardii to get through the photoshoot without shitting your neon green pants. you will feel like shit during the photoshoot because you have a severe gastrointestinal illness that will require two antibiotics to fix. when you go back to america you will chase down the photographer man for more than 2 months. you will beg him for your photos & videos. he will finally give you the unedited photos on a free transfer site that takes an entire day to download them. he will never edit them. he will never give you the videos. but most of all, he will never take accountability for everything he did wrong, which is the very thing that will bother you the most. you will be able to let go of this man when you understand that a tiny voice inside you told you to cancel the shoot. that you were too sick to do it. but you charged through, ignoring your body, a past pattern for you. you were afraid of being in trouble with him for a late cancelation. you didn't want to disappoint. but in the end, the photographer wronged you more than a cancelation would have ever wronged him. that tiny voice is your superpower. your body knew. she always does.
