”Jos ei ole rahaa maksaa, niin sitten ei tankata.” Näin mulle tokastiin viime perjantaina 30.10. Ähtärin ABC:llä (@abcahtari), kun yritin pyytää apua tankkaamiseen. 🫠 Kurvasin ABC:lle tuttuun tapaan mobiilitankkaamaan, mutta jostain syystä palvelu ei toiminut. Asemalla ei myöskään ollut mahdollisuutta lähimaksuun, eikä mulla ollut fyysistä pankkikorttia mukana. Suuntasin siis sisälle kysymään, olisiko tilanteeseen jotain ratkaisua. Avun sijaan sain osakseni vihamielistä, alentavaa ja suorastaan nöyryyttävää kohtelua. Asiakaspalvelija tiuski, että kaikki maksaminen tapahtuu ulkona, ettei hän tiedä mistään mobiilista ja kehotti minua vaikka nostamaan käteistä. Olin kuitenkin juuri kertonut, ettei minulla ollut fyysistä korttia mukana. Kun yritin vielä selvittää tilannetta, asiakaspalvelija ohitti minut kesken kaiken ja alkoi palvella seuraavaa asiakasta. Samalla hän tiuskaisi palvelevansa nyt jo muita ja tokaisi lopulta: ”Jos ei ole rahaa maksaa, niin sitten ei tankata.” Tuo viimeinen kommentti jäi erityisesti kalvamaan. En ollut missään vaiheessa sanonut, ettei mulla olisi rahaa. Mulla oli vain ongelma maksutavan kanssa, johon yritin pyytää apua. En voikaan olla miettimättä, vaikuttiko ulkonäköni siihen, millaisia oletuksia musta tehtiin ja miksi mulle puhuttiin niin alentavasti nöyryyttäen. Lähdin asemalta järkyttyneenä. Sain onneksi nopeasti somen kautta apua ja kurvasin Ähtärin Nesteelle tankkaamaan mobiilisovelluksen avulla, jossa Apple pay toimi. Matka jatkui Raumalle täydellä tankilla. Lähetin ABC:lle (@abcasemat)asiasta palautteen jo perjantai-iltana ja sain vastauksen tänään maanantaina. Toivon todella, ettei palautteeni jää vain yhdeksi kirjaukseksi järjestelmään, vaan johtaa myös konkreettisiin muutoksiin. Jokainen meistä voi joskus tarvita apua. Kenenkään ei pitäisi joutua pelkäämään tulevansa nöyryytetyksi vain siksi, että uskaltaa kysyä apua _asiakaspalvelijalta_ Asiallinen ja yhdenvertainen kohtelu ei ole erityiskohtelua tai -palvelua. Sen pitäisi olla ihan itsestäänselvyys.
