Latifa went missing from Kibra on October 26, 2026, before her body was found dumped in River Nithi. Her ex boyfriend is currently in police custody as investigations into her murder continue. Social media posts claim that Latifa was killed inside a house before several people helped tie her body with a rope, stuff it into three large bags and transport it by car to Nithi Bridge, where it was dumped into the river. The man urged fellow men to accept rejection instead of turning to violence
