All thanks to @bazmesukhan.khaas and the hard working team for the mehfil. Poetry starts at 00:40. Before I started making songs, I used to only write and this is one of the earliest writings of mine. Never thought I would ever recite it. A big thank you to everyone who was there especially Shahid Gul sahb who I learnt so much from in a matter of hours and Abrar uncle who pushed me to recite and captured the video (legend in my books) 🙌❤️‍🩹

Mujh se mere baare mein puuchte ho
Sabab-e-gham ho anjaan bante ho

Maine dekha hai duniya mein gunah hote
Tum bhi they wahan kya bante ho

Narazgi ki baat hi nahi tumse
Tumne kuch chorha he nahi kya bante ho

Khabar aayi hai ek udti udti
Ghar mein naya hai ek bashinda kya bante ho

Diya tumhe dua ka taufa har baar
Qafn bhi mila nahi tumse kyabbante ho

Larh baithe zamane seh tumhare liye
Tumne aankh bhi na jhapki kya bante ho

Jism mein jala hai khoon bahut
Aag lagayi thi tumne kya bante ho
