Popped up and performed with my Native community yesterday and ended up on the rocks with tha boys. Thank you @unea_org & @billymills10k for having me at the Billy Mills Run For Life.
One of the most important elders in my life was the late activist Roberta Wilson who is Oglala Lakota & Cheyenne. As a youngin’ she kept me around community on and off the rez, and exposed me to much culture and knowledge that informs who I am today. Swiped left is me w/ her family tree, who remain my family, alongside the legend Olympic Gold Medalist Billy Mills.
What a wonderful community gathering!
