2 months agoI don’t have a fast entry binding currently, but being 45 with some back problems, I’m definitely curious about them
2 months agoNever rode quick entry before, but decided to pick up a pair of 32 fase this season bc it seems like there’s only upside with this system. Same 2 strap feel. No extra weight (supermatics). No dependency on boot compatibility (Burton SO).
2 months agoBurton step ons offer convenience, better response, and a lighter setup underfoot.
2 months agoTried step on out of curiosity two years ago… never went back to regular bindings: step on are lighter, more comfortable (no pressure points from the straps), better fit whith the boot, and above all much more reactive. And yes they are faster in, but to be honest at this point even if they were not I would probably still stick with them for all the other reasons.
2 months agoQuick entry is very useful especially now that I ride with my daughter (skier). Plus cost wise, it just a little bit more $$ than the regular version. I have the Rome katana fase btw
2 months agoBut nobody mentioning FASE 🤦♂️ I want to know what you think of them. Been wanting to demo a pair before I committed. Also “somebody” told me to find your homie who’s oppo and you split one pair 😂
2 months agoI can step into and strap up while I’m riding off the lift. That’s fine if u want step ins, I don’t discriminate, I just don’t need em
2 months agoHad to switch to skiing, couldn’t bear to tell my parents I was switched to quick release snowboard bindings.
2 months agoConvenience and no back bindings getting in the way when carrying or putting the board away.
2 months agoHamstring injury in my late 40s. Tried to rehab fully. Step ons solved the issue for me.
2 months agoFASE. Bought the Bataleon Blaster FASEs last season and haven't looked back since. Fast in, fast out and feel exactly like a regular strap-in binding. Love them.
