Hey Trump, it’s Senator Abdul El-Sayed to you.

Couldn’t be prouder of my fellow first-generation Arab American who ran an amazing campaign despite all the hate he received.

According to new reporting, CDC career scientists prepared a Health Alert Network advisory warning clinicians about the risks of measles during pregnancy, including serious complications for pregnant patients and babies.

However, the alert reportedly never received approval from the CDC Director’s Office.

That matters.

Health Alert Network notices are designed to get urgent clinical information to doctors, hospitals, and public-health departments quickly, especially during an active outbreak.

Pennsylvania had already issued its own warning about measles in pregnancy, and CDC scientists reportedly tried other routes to get the information published after the alert stalled.

We still do not know who made the decision, why it was held up, or whether HHS leadership was involved, but public-health communication only works when scientists can rapidly warn clinicians about emerging risks.

Measles does not wait for politics or bureaucracy.

Your back isn’t stiff. Your fascia is dehydrated.

Stretching, massage guns and supplements only treat the surface. When the fascia along your spine stays dry and stuck, it pulls on everything: your hips, your shoulders, your breath.

So coil. Fists up, back foot turned out, rotate through your spine and squeeze. Inhale, unwind, switch sides. Little by little the whole back starts to wake up.

You don’t need another tool. The kingdom of heaven is within you.

Thank you @thedavidweck for keeping inventing simple yet powerful practices.
