Two men who targeted South Asian families’ homes in Ruislip, Harrow and Barnet have been jailed at Isleworth Crown Court, the Met announced on Tuesday 3 November. Detectives say they believed the homes would hold high-value jewellery. A £7,000 Rolex, gold earrings worth £1,500 and an antique gold and diamond ring worth £1,200 were among the items taken. They covered their faces inside, but CCTV, forensics, phone data and Oyster card records placed them at every burglary. One even topped up his Oyster at Ruislip station with his own debit card. Oresti Saliaj, 40, of Wembley Park, was jailed for three years and six months, and Clirim Ferizi, 26, of Harrow, for two years. In a separate case, Hetaj Dionis, 35, and Arben Cuka, 31, of Ealing, were jailed for five years between them after a run of burglaries targeting South Asian households in Hayes over eight days. Police found one of them on a roof in Ealing with a crowbar. …you let yourself be seen. Normally you’ll find me in sweats 😅 So getting dressed up for a gala in a bright red dress? Waaaayyy outside my comfort zone. 😳 Here’s what I’m learning in this new chapter of my life: Coming back to dance has been one permission slip after another. 1. Permission to get back in the room. 2. Permission to get uncomfortable learning new things. 3. Permission to feel confident in my own skin. 4. Permission to play life full out. 5. And now… permission to let myself BE SEEN. Every time I give myself a little more permission, dance changes how I see myself, what I’m capable of, and what’s possible for me… AND new paid opportunities are starting to show up too. 💵 And when we do new and uncomfortable things, it’s always more fun with someone by your side. Thank you @jeanniefit for saying yes to this with me 🙏🏽 That’s exactly why I created the DANCE Collective: a place where we use dance to explore bigger, more confident, more FREE versions of ourselves… and get seen, heard, and felt out in the world in whatever way we choose. 🏆🏆🏆 Comment “COLLECTIVE” and I’ll send you the link to join us every Friday at the founding members’ rate of $55 a month, yours for as long as you stay. Rates go up on December 1st. 💫 #moveonpurpose #dancersover40 #genxdancer #letyourselfbeseen #newchapter 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
