What an awesome weekends shooting. It was over to #HolmesChapelShootingGround on Saturday and Sunday and I’m very pleased to say both shoots were a great success with second in class on both days 🥈

The real icing on the cake was coming second in class for the East Coast vs West Coast competition.

It was also my first shoot in my new @reistoshooting vest. I really can’t praise the fit, quality and functionality, a big 11/10.

A huge thank you to my sponsors

#2Pac’s “MAKAVELI” album dropped 30 years ago today. 🕊️🏆

On November 5th, 1996, Death Row Records released “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory”, the fifth studio album from Tupac Shakur, under his new alias, Makaveli.

Arriving less than two months after his death on September 13th, the album became one of the most haunting, controversial and celebrated releases in Hip Hop history.

Recorded during the summer of 1996, months after “All Eyez on Me”, the project marked a dramatic departure from its predecessor. Gone were the superstar collaborations and polished production. In their place was a darker, more aggressive and deeply personal sound.

Working predominantly with producers Hurt-M-Badd and Darryl “Big D” Harper, alongside QDIII, 2Pac recorded much of the material in an astonishingly short period. The legendary “7 Day Theory” refers to the intense recording and mixing process, with much of the project reportedly completed within a week. 🎚️

Across just 12 tracks, Makaveli delivered some of the greatest performances of his career.

From the sinister “Hail Mary” and explosive “Bomb First” and “Against All Odds”, to the introspective “Krazy”, “White Man’z World” and “Hold Ya Head”, the album showcased every dimension of 2Pac’s artistry.

Its artwork, designed by Ronald “Riskie” Brent, became iconic. Depicting 2Pac crucified, the imagery, combined with a name inspired by Italian philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli, helped fuel decades of speculation and conspiracy theories.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with approximately 664,000 copies sold in its opening week, eventually achieving quadruple-platinum certification in the United States. 📈

Unlike the numerous posthumous projects that followed, “The Don Killuminati” was the final album 2Pac completed during his lifetime.

30 years later, its intensity, mystique and extraordinary lyricism remain unmatched.

EXIT 2PAC. ENTER MAKAVELI. 🐐

Where does “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory” rank in 2Pac’s discography for you?
