❤️‍🩹My cast is off and the healing & recovery begin! ❤️‍🩹A week ago today I was freed from my cast. Little did I know that the aftermath of being locked 🔒 in a cast for 11 weeks would be so intense! I wasn’t truly prepared for the struggle. ✋My hand and fingers are very stiff, swollen and painful. I can’t make a complete fist or flatten my hand yet. Because I had a complicated break my supination and pronation of my wrist/arm is the greatest challenge. I have lost strength and muscle tone in my forearm & triceps and my shoulder is locked up from doing all the work the past 11 weeks! ❤️As you can see I have a long road to recovery! The mental game is SO IMPORTANT to this healing journey. A positive mindset is key 🔑 when facing daily struggles. People from different parts of the country gathered at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday, November 1, ahead of the INDIA bloc’s mega rally against alleged “vote chori”. The gathering witnessed colourful scenes, with diverse groups arriving in distinctive attire, dancing, playing musical instruments, wearing masks and staging performances, adding a vibrant dimension to the political mobilisation. The visuals reflect the diversity of participants who have travelled to the national capital to join the Opposition alliance’s campaign. Supporters from several states began arriving at the venue early in the morning, while party workers assembled at different locations across Delhi before proceeding towards Ramlila Maidan. The rally is part of the INDIA bloc’s “Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao” campaign, which challenges alleged irregularities in electoral rolls and the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. Opposition parties have accused the poll body of allowing eligible voters’ names to be removed from electoral lists and are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The Election Commission and the government have disputed allegations of political bias. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called on students, farmers, workers, women, young people and traders to join the mobilisation. The programme includes a march from the Minto Road–Connaught Place junction towards Ramlila Maidan, followed by the rally. Leaders from multiple INDIA bloc parties are expected to participate.
