Earlier this year former college football star Quinton Baker, 28, came out as gay to his girlfriend’s friend moments before getting into a sh**tout with Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) officers and using his 3-year-old son as a hostage. His story is now resurfacing as the Clark County coroner admits they can’t determine if officers or Quinton killed the child during the sh**ting.

On February 3, Quinton and his son, Kentre Baker, were fatally sh*t as the father walked towards police, holding his son as hostage. In body-camera footage, Quinton holds Kentre in his left arm with his right hand holding a g*n, pointed at the child’s chest. Kentre’s mother, Raneka Pate, said things began after she and Quinton got into an argument upon him telling her friend “that he was gay.” Raneka said Quinton beat her up and threatened to k*ll himself and their son. According to LVMPD, officers fired several rounds at Quinton. At the time, LVMPD previously stated Quinton k*lled his son, who died from two g*nshot wounds.

But now, LVMPD and the Clark County coroner are having difficulty confirming if Quinton or officers fatally sh*t the child during the standoff. The report was shared during a fact-finding review on Wednesday (October 28) at the Clark County Commission chambers. While testifying on behalf of LVMPD, Detective Brian Walter said Quinton fired his g*n four times as he fell to the ground upon officers sh**ting him. Walter said the officer who fired his weapon first was not instructed to sh**t. On body-camera footage, a lieutenant instructed another officer, who was armed with a long g*n, to sh**t Quinton. Both officers fired a total of five rounds. In body-cam footage, the lieutenant yelled, “He’s holding a kid, you idiot. Why are we sh**ting a hundred shots?” It’s also reported that the Clark County District Attorney’s office declined to prosecute the two officers.

Ei allekirjoittaneelle ainakaan.🙈

Oman yrityksen kasvattaminen on osoittanut ainakin itselleni sen, ettei sitä kasvua tehdä odottelemalla täydellistä hetkeä. Eikä varsinkaan täydellistä varmuutta. Ehei täällä ainakaan.❌️ Onhan tässä pitänyt uskaltaa myydä, tarttua mahdollisuuksiin, tavoitella isompaa ja tehdä asioita välillä ennen kuin on tuntenut olevansa niihin täysin valmiskaan.🙏 Luottaa siihen, mitä on rakentamassa, vaikka ympärillä maailma ei aina näyttäisikään erityisen ennustettavalta. Ja kyllähän hallitusta kasvusta huolimatta vuosien varrelle on mahtunut myös niitä hetkiä, jolloin on miettinyt, että mitäs ihmettä tässä olenkaan oikein tekemässä.😄

Ehkäpä juuri nyt yrittäjyydessä rohkeus ei tarkoitakaan sitä, ettei epävarmuus mietityttäisi. Se tarkoittaa sitä, että uskaltaa tehdä, myydä, kehittyä ja katsoa eteenpäin siitä huolimatta. Siksi olen tästä illasta ihan erityisen innoissani, onhan Rohkeus ollut alusta alkaen myös oman yritykseni arvo.💛

Myy ja kasva rohkeasti kokoaa Pakkahuoneelle yrittäjiä ja asiantuntijoita jakamaan käytännön kokemuksia muun muassa kasvusta, modernista myynnistä, verkkokaupasta ja kansainvälistymisestä. Minä ainakin aion juontamisen ohessa kuunnella tarkalla korvalla.🤩
