Hi, I’m Dr. Amir Karam! I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about what I do and why I do it.

I’m a facial plastic surgeon based in San Diego, California, and I’ve spent over 20 years specializing in facial rejuvenation. I’ve performed thousands of facelifts and developed my signature Vertical Restore® technique, a comprehensive approach designed to restore youthful facial shape by lifting the brow, midface, jawline, and neck.

Throughout my career, one thing I’ve always emphasized is that facial aging happens in two dimensions: skin quality and facial shape. Addressing both is essential to achieving natural, lasting rejuvenation.

That philosophy also led me to create @karammdskin and the Trifecta, a simple, comprehensive skincare routine built around proven active ingredients. My goal was to take the guesswork out of skincare and make it easier for people to achieve healthier, more youthful-looking skin through consistency.

Outside of the operating room, I’m a husband and proud dad to four boys. I love spending time outdoors, staying active, prioritizing my health, and watching football (Go Ravens, Michigan, and TCU!).

One of my favorite parts of what I do is sharing what I’ve learned over the years, whether it’s facial rejuvenation, skincare, or the everyday habits that can make a meaningful difference in how we look and feel as we age.
