Why off the rack slim fit actually makes men look wider, and how tailoring geometry fixes it. Low rise pants and cropped jackets cut your body right down the middle. When a waistband sits below the belly, it exposes that dead space triangle at the hips, pushes the stomach forward, and shortens your legs. The architectural fix comes down to three rules of proportion: The Rule of Two Thirds: Raising the rise to your natural waist across the fullest point of the belly erases that dead space. The cloth drapes cleanly in an unbroken vertical line, giving two thirds of your visual frame to the legs. Full Seat Coverage: A jacket must cover the curve of the seat. Cropped jackets truncate your torso, while proper length restores balance. The True Button Stance: The fastening button is your visual anchor. It should sit at either the narrowest point of the waist for natural suppression, or across the widest point of the abdomen so the jacket quarters never pull open. Proportion over trends. Every single time. If it is made for everyone, it was not made for you. Schedule your private consultation upstairs at the Hooper House showroom in Baltimore. LAST TOUR DATES OF 2026 So many special shows coming up, new places, familiar faces and a lot of memories to make. Can’t wait to see you all on the dancefloor. Let’s make these last weeks of the year unforgettable. SEE YOU IN THE FRONT ROW BABES 🤍
It’s been a wild few weeks. I just want to express my gratitude for everything to everyone. From getting to open up the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga to getting the entertainer of the year award at @intlbluegrass and seeing all my friends there.. jamming till 4am .. to the amazing shows in Huntsville at the beautiful @theorionamphitheater to the madness of our Halloween shows in Baltimore.. trick or treating in all the different rooms backstage at @cfgbankarena with my son. Working so hard on the He-man theme and seeing it all come together.. I was nervous leading up to it. I had to sit down and catch my breath shortly before we walked on stage. I was having bad anxiety and we had been playing for 8 hours a day leading up to it trying to cram all these arrangements in our brains. I had no idea if we were gonna pull it off but somehow we always do. Even the couple original tunes I wrote for the theme went over great!! It’s just been an absolute whirlwind and I am so grateful to be able to do make this music with this incredible band and amazing team who all work their hind-ends off to make it happen. The little kid in this picture would not believe it. Thank you all for blowing his little mind.
Google heard the outcry from parents, teachers, and the US Senate, who don’t want Gemini pushed into classrooms. AI causes cognitive offloading, encourages cheating on homework, and enables the possibility of forming human-like relationships with a chatbot. So Google responded: They are going to make Gemini an “opt-in” choice for each school district. Great! But then they attached a condition: if a school district does NOT turn on Gemini, then the students lose Google search, which is deeply woven into the fabric of education. This is coercion, not choice. Google can and should just restore what we all had before: Google search with no AI chatbot interaction or AI overviews.
