This time last year we officially became a family❤️💍
We kept it quiet as we wanted to focus on how celebrating our love made us feel as a couple and a family, and it really was one of the most meaningful moments of our lives.
Not so much the ceremony in and of itself, but that moment, that sums up what it is all about, when you look into each other’s eyes and say out loud what you have been feeling for so long…
“I do.”
I do love you.
Not just the word “love,” but the world of action that lives within it.
The love that means I’ll fight by your side, no matter what life brings.
The love that means I’ll continually and consciously choose you, again and again.
Life has a beautiful way of writing stories we could never have planned ourselves.
Every turn, every ending, every unexpected beginning somehow becomes part of the journey that brings us exactly where we are meant to be.
And we feel deeply grateful for this special gift that came to us from above, in a way we could have never imagined.
We chose to stay open.
To trust life and let it guide us.
To let go of the past, the fears, the doubts, and to embrace the path that life prepared for us.
And it’s never about one day or one ceremony.
It is about the choice we make every day, as this journey continues.
With open hearts, we trust this journey.
We embrace this new beginning.
