Highlight of New Zealand #2: Visiting @wetaworkshop in Wellington!
We’ve always known of the remarkable talent the people at Wēta Workshop possess, but getting the opportunity to view their creative processes and witness their sheer scale of dedication was incredible and indescribable. Most notably, getting to touch Sauron’s film-used armor made me cry big nerdy tears and Chris’s smile while holding one of Martin Freeman’s prosthetic Bilbo feet could melt icebergs. Our tour guide, Taylor, was wonderful. Peering into the blacksmith workshop was jawdropping. It was pure, unfiltered magic.
