In 2022 the original E.T. animatronic showed up at auction completely skinless. No silicone, no costume, just 85 points of articulation and pure mechanical horror staring back at you. It sold for 2.56 million.

ET always scared me. As a kid I fell asleep watching it one day and had a nightmare and it’s creeped me out ever since. This is actual nightmare fuel, so thanks 😂
