Now that I got past the Air for Free talk, yes, the Christmas Album makes me smile and cry in one album. Best CCM Christmas Album, unless Happy Christmas, Vol. 5 is an option… still might choose RK though.

Air For Free is my favorite album. Most impactful album of my life. I think FANSD is inarguably the best, and I love every one of those albums. But Man, God, and Heartache are probably my 3 favorite songs they ever wrote. Marigold is up there, Mountaintop is underrated. Empty House scratches an itch in my brain. The way autotune makes the song sound more “empty” is perfect. Local Construction is the most relatable song of my life. Runnin’ is such a good story song and the guitar in it is some of Matt’s best. The title song is a VIBE, Flower is like summertime angst and I don’t how else to explain that. Bummin’ sets such an energetic tone… It’s a no skip album for me, because I think, “man I’m not feeling Cat today,” then M@ says “HE LOOKS A LOT LIKE ME” in the most perfect way. I will talk about this album for days. It’s fun, musically diverse, deep, and intrinsically RK.

Air For Free is one of their worst. Its in the lower half of their discography. That's my hot take.

Their Christmas album is my ONLY go-to for the holidays. I generally dislike Christmas music overall, but theirs is unlike anything else out there.
