Composers Now would like to congratulate our artistic director and founder, Tania León, for the world premiere performance of her piece “Imágenes Mestizas” with the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel! Tomorrow, September 29th, will be the last performance at Lincoln Center before the NY Phil will ventures out onto their sold out 2026 European tour from October 9-22, where they will perform her piece alongside Mahler’s 5th Symphony in Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Hamburg, and Vienna. The New York Times has also released a wonderful review of the premiere by Gabrielle Ferrari! Tech billionaire and Republican megadonor Elon Musk is among the biggest losers of election night in the U.S. ㅤ He doled out around $446 million — the most a non-candidate has ever spent on an election, including over $200 million on Texas-related efforts. ㅤ But Musk’s preferred candidates across the country were swamped, losing almost everywhere. ㅤ His plans for a buildout of data centers across Texas are especially in doubt after Democrat Gina Hinojosa won a surprise victory over incumbent Greg Abbott in the state’s gubernatorial race. ㅤ “Data centers in space looking pretty appealing right now,” Musk wrote on X on Wednesday morning, jumping off the results to boost an idea he’s trying to pursue. ㅤ He quickly followed that with a joke about election interference, writing, “Guess my election-interfering space lasers didn’t work this time.” ㅤ Head to the link in our bio to read about what Musk should now brace for as Democrats take control of the U.S. Congress. ㅤ 📷 Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images

Today marks two week since my vocal cord was paralyzed. Keep hoping I'll wake up tomorrow and it will be the day my voice comes back! Until then, I just want to thank you for the kind messages. I have read every single one of them and I am overwhelmed in the best way 😍
