Hulk Hogan's WCW career began in 1994 when he made his shocking debut at Bash at the Beach, joining WCW after becoming the biggest star in WWE. Initially presented as the ultimate good guy, Hogan quickly became the face of WCW and captured the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. However, everything changed at Bash at the Beach 1996, when Hogan turned heel for the first time in over a decade by attacking Randy Savage and joining forces with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. This shocking moment gave birth to the New World Order (nWo), one of the most influential factions in professional wrestling history. Reinventing himself as Hollywood Hogan, he became the arrogant leader of the nWo, wearing black and white, disrespecting the fans, and dominating WCW alongside his allies. The nWo storyline became a massive success and played a major role in WCW defeating WWE in the Monday Night Wars. Hogan remained one of WCW's biggest attractions, having memorable rivalries with Sting, Goldberg, Randy Savage, and Ric Flair. His rivalry with Sting culminated at Starrcade 1997, while his match against Goldberg on Nitro in 1998 became one of WCW's most iconic moments. Despite his success, backstage politics, creative control, and the decline of WCW eventually became major problems. Hogan remained a central figure until WCW's final days in 2001, leaving behind a complicated but undeniably historic legacy.
