I kept wondering what can I say or what should I say and I realised that everything was said. I looked at everything and I remembered most of the Mighty Sparrow's journey and I said yes that was a great man. I enjoyed every moment of what was being shown and what was being said. The Mighty Sparrow was a treasure not only to Trinidad and Tobago or the Caribbean but the world . We were blessed with the life of a special human being, one that has touched us all. Social media went crazy learning of his passing. Those who didn't know the Birdie was learning about him. Everybody had a story to tell, a song to play and even comments that touched us. I feel as though I have lost a family member. Let's remember him as one of the greatest legends of our culture. May he rest in eternal peace and may his family, friends and fans continue to celebrate the life and contribution of this one of a kind and be thankful to have been part of the phenomenon he was . 🙏🏾
