👀💻 A student sent Claude screenshots of a Java coding exam and asked for the optimal solution, but the AI spotted a countdown timer and a webcam feed and refused to write it.

When the student insisted on getting the answer, Claude held its position and said it would share the full solution only after the test was over.

Instead, it offered to explain the logic behind this type of tree problem with a different example and to help him practice similar questions.

Give your cornbread a little extra attention this holiday season 🍯 @lmsthompson’s Upside Down Cornbread has a fluffy center topped with golden squash and rich miso-honey caramel, bringing just the right balance of sweet and savory to your holiday spread.

Comment ‘RECIPE’ to have the details sent to your DMs. Want to make this later? Save it on @myrecipes so it’s ready when you are.

CORN BREAD BATTER:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup sour cream, room temperature
1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
1 large egg, room temperature
1 tablespoon honey
2 1/2 cups cornmeal (I use the medium-grind from Bob’s Red Mill)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen corn, thawed
2 tablespoons chopped sage
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary

MISO-CARAMEL SQUASH:
1 medium delicata or acorn squash (about 1.5 pounds)
Kosher salt, to taste
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons miso, (gluten-free if necessary)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
2 tablespoons heavy cream
