In honor of Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, @jhkgos hosted a symposium focusing on various cancer-related topics in women's health.

Dr. Rebecca Stone, the Stoddard & O’Neill Professor in Gynecologic Oncology and director of the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service, recently shared research about nearly all ovarian cancers being cancers of the fallopian tubes. Stone notes that the American Cancer Society is working on a national campaign to raise awareness among women and doctors that tube removal can help prevent most ovarian cancers.
