Our 2026 Holiday Card is one of the most beautifully complicated things we’ve made all year. It was inspired by a vintage tunnel book (also known as a peepshow book) commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, which I’ve had in my book collection for decades.

Our version is a love letter to the garden and all her gifts. Inside are a dozen layers of foliage, flowers, and plants from the Estate. Each one began as an original oil painting by the remarkable @_johnreagan which we then carefully photographed and reproduced. Every layer was meticulously die-cut and assembled by hand into an intricate paper accordion. What begins as a flat little card opens into a miniature world, with the garden unfolding layer by layer.

Huge thanks to John for being such a big part of our year. And to Joey on our team for calculating all of the folds. And to our friends at @likelyus for their paper engineering and extraordinary patience. So happy to finally send these little gardens out into the world. X Richard
