In my opinion neither path is inherently superior; they simply cater to different personality types, risk tolerances, and life dynamics. A functional society requires both the innovation of the entrepreneur and the stability of the civil servant, the teacher, or the retail worker etc (i am sure you get the point). True professional fulfillment isn’t about escaping a structure—it is about finding the one that aligns with your personality based on the options offered to you by your environment.
