happy 30th birthday to @polyvinylrecords here are some logo riffs i designed to celebrate
some of the first records i ever purchased were released by polyvinyl and it was cathartic to revisit their early packaging (last few slides)
i pulled @tbell71 ‘s cursive handwriting from the “i’m afraid of everything” 7” record (slide 3) and work it into something new (see slide 2)
this stuff is very near and dear to my heart, i was 14 when i was getting into polyvinyl, and now i’m 41 and feeling grateful
the images on slide 1 are available as a sticker pack (@abadjanelle affectionately coined it the ‘identity crisis’ pack) along with some other swag
thank you to @natalievdavila @hubre50 @mattlunsford and the whole polyvinyl team for the trust, and to my good friend Eli @slowdowndrygoods
