We children-ed too close to the sun, and accidentally had 5 kids in three years.

Some would say that’s too many children. And look. Do we sometimes hear Darcy (youngest) cry and say “oh I’d forgotten about him”? Yes. It’s always a shock.

We realised that if we want to have a Proper Conversation, our best bet is to make it look like a professional endeavour because of the capitalist prison in which we live.

MY DREAMS DIDN'T END… THEY JUST WAITED FOR THE RIGHT TIME! ❤️📚

At the tender age of 13, I had to say goodbye to my school life, not because I didn't love learning, but because life had other responsibilities waiting for me. I put my education aside to stand by my family and support them.

Life taught me many lessons outside the classroom, but somewhere in my heart, the little girl who dreamed of studying never gave up.

Today, I am choosing to give that little girl another chance. I am continuing the education I once had to leave behind. Because age is just a number, and it is never too late to chase a dream!

This journey is not just about going back to school. It is about courage, determination, self-belief and proving to myself that it's never too late to become what you once dreamed of being.

To everyone who had to put their dreams on hold because of family responsibilities or life's challenges — your story isn't over. Your time can still come. ❤️
