Banned Books Week is here again. It’s tiring fighting for the right to read, but we promise we won’t lay down on the job (I was just resting!).

Banned Books Week is from October 4th to the 10th this year, and on Thursday, 10/8, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, I’ll be hosting a trivia night @book_and_bottle - it’s ten dollars to join, and that goes into a pool for the winner! There will also be some fun B+ B merch we’re giving away that we can’t tell you about (ooOoooooOoo)

If you’ve been loving the Banned Book Journaling Workshops put on between Book + Bottle and the @mfastpete - or if you just love the joy of reading, classics, and wanna test your knowledge, it’s gonna be an amazing time (and you know we will have a wine list full of banned book pairings!).

The last few years have been hard for literacy, for access to books, and for democracy. Let’s have some joy and celebrate what we have, and fight for what and who we can.
