We’ve reached the final introduction of the leadership team behind Las Vegas Filipinos, our newest community joining the Kababayan Network.
Rounding out the team is Cirimille Paglinawan Scaggs, who will serve as Volunteer Manager.
Cirimille is a Filipino American entrepreneur, cultural advocate, and active community leader in Las Vegas. She is the owner of CMC Boutique, a Las Vegas-based Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana wear boutique dedicated to celebrating Filipino culture and continuing her family’s legacy.
A proud UNLV alumna with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Cirimille created the platform “Embrace Your Cultural Legacy” to encourage younger generations to take pride in their heritage and preserve their cultural identity. Her advocacy has taken her to high schools and colleges throughout the Las Vegas Valley as a guest speaker.
Cirimille was crowned Miss Nevada Regency 2023 and Miss United States Global Icon 2024 and currently serves as Secretary of NaFFAA Nevada. She is also a host of the Las Vegas Filipino Resource Guide Radio Show on PHILV Radio and frequently emcees Filipino cultural and community events throughout Southern Nevada.
Her community involvement includes leadership with the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada and advocacy for children with special needs through organizations including the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada and Sing Out For Autism. Her work was also recognized in Las Vegas’ inaugural Women of Impact book, highlighting influential Filipino women in the community.
We’re proud to have Cirimille as part of the Las Vegas Filipinos leadership team, where she will help build a strong network of volunteers and create opportunities for Filipinos across the Las Vegas Valley to get involved.
