Moe Acharki | Filmmaker

It was an absolute honour to have won the People's Choice Award at the REVEEU Finale & Awards Night last Saturday. My short film, The Haunted House Hotel, holds a special place in my heart, so to hear the audience's thoughts and how it resonated with a lot of people was emotionally and creatively satisfying.

Thank you to the folks at @veeutv, everyone who came to the event to support filmmakers, and of course @dmorse2007, @tariqs_86 and @thefabledbenji, who came with me to Wolverhampton to support the film. That's not forgetting all of the people who voted online. Without you, this couldn't have been possible, and I am extremely grateful.

Synopsis:
Welcome to the Haunted House Hotel! The rooms are okay, the owner dangerously quirky and the murders deliciously unsolved. Although that might be about to change.

When Edward DeWitt rises from the grave to solve his own murder, he brings along a camera so he can finally release a world-famous documentary.

But will he solve the riddle of his death? Will the love of his life return his affections? And is Hollywood ready to accept its first deceased documentarian?

The Haunted House Hotel is a murder mystery comedy about love, loss, and ectoplasm.
