POV: I didn’t turn 40. I pulled up to it. 🏎️🎂💨

A little horsepower, a little birthday magic, and a whole lot of gratitude. ✨

Chapter 40: More confidence. More laughter. More love. More living. And absolutely NO slowing down. 💋

I’m not chasing my 20s or missing my 30s. I’m driving straight into my 40s with a smile, a grateful heart, and a few surprises along the way. 🥂

HELLO, 40. You look good from the driver’s seat. 😏🔥

Now tell me… does life really begin at 40, or have I been lied to? 😂👇

The way we respond to difficult situations often reveals how deeply we trust the Lord. It’s easy to remain patient when everything is going well, but what happens when someone disappoints us, speaks harshly, or disrupts our plans? James 1:19 reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. God never intended for our emotions to determine our character. When we allow frustration to control our responses, we often create problems that could have been avoided through patience and prayer.

Before responding to something that upsets you, ask yourself whether your words will honor God or simply satisfy your emotions. Philippians 4:7 reminds us that God’s peace will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. You cannot control how others behave, but with the Holy Spirit’s help, you can control how you respond. Don’t allow a difficult moment to rob you of the peace God desires for your life.
