For those who don’t know, I played with the hum in the summer, recording an EP and playing a show in the same day. The Hum is an awesome group with an open minded vision, and revolving members. The recording was done in just a couple takes, without punching in or re-recording parts. It was a stark contrast to how I created music before, listening to endless loops, recording and splicing parts until I couldn’t tell what was even good anymore. Was great to play with them, and feel fortunate to be included with such talent.
