Seen / Unseen
explores the fragile boundary between being seen and remaining hidden—a space where identity is shaped not only by what we choose to reveal, but also by what we keep concealed.
Throughout the series, the subject moves between exposure and disappearance: behind bars and frames, within shadows, and eventually in direct confrontation with the camera. These visual barriers are more than compositional elements; they become metaphors for the distance between the self and the image imposed or perceived by others.
As the series unfolds, the subject’s appearance and external markers of identity gradually lose their importance. What remains is a person who is no longer simply the object of observation, but becomes the one who looks back.
