On September 30, 2026, Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv faced a terrifying cockpit emergency. The co-pilot allegedly attacked and stabbed the captain, while the aircraft rapidly descended from over 30,000 feet. Passengers and an additional crew helped regain control, and the plane made an emergency landing safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. All 174 passengers were later flown back to Israel.
