Our members were busy this past month advocating and representing youth in the diaspora!
On September 18th members of Youth of LAP attended the United Nations General Assembly as delegates on behalf of the diaspora🥳🇺🇳
The meeting was lead by Liberia’s Minister of Youth, Sports, and Security and various officials and voices from around the world are in support of Liberia’s official effort to invest in the development of its young people in all 15 counties!
During the weekend of September 25th-27th, members attended the Liberian Diaspora Annual Conference in the DMV. This event allowed members to network across multiple sectors such as health, art, technology, agriculture, and culture🇱🇷
