Atrament

Pink Machine may not be known in Vancouver but he defined deep house and broader rave ethos for me many decades ago. Effortless style and inscrutable selections. His specific flavour of deep house is something very special and needs to be experienced.

Tyler Stadius is foundational in the history of Vancouver’s house scene from early 90s warehouse raves to the quintessential Bassix to dancefloors at Fabric, he continues as a pillar of the Vancouver house music landscape. I’m very excited to create a space for him to flex some deeper selections.

Afrooz is the relative newcomer of this crowd but her output is highly refined. She seems to “get it” in that inarticulable way and has a seriousness to the work that is hard to find. She will fit right in.

And the current champion of dub house and dub techno in Vancouver: Atrament. An obsessive of delayed chords, dusty textures, and subtle rhythms.
