*Don't miss to try my style Naatu Kozhi Biryani for this Deepavali 🪔✨
Veetla seyalame, kadai taste la! Save this recipe and try for Deepavali!

Ingredients:

For Rice:
- 4 cups Seeraga Samba Rice - Wash & soak for 30 mins

*For Marination - 1.5 kg Country Chicken:*
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Curd
- 3 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 10 Kashmiri Red Chillies - Soaked & ground
- 1 tsp Biryani Masala - Grind 8 Cardamom, 8 Cloves, 5 small Cinnamon sticks

Marinate for 30 mins.

For Biryani:
- 250 ml Oil + 50 ml Ghee
- 4 Onions - Sliced
- 30 Shallots - Ground
- Handful Mint & Coriander leaves
- 5-6 Green Chillies
- 3 Tomatoes - Ground
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

Method:

1. Heat oil + ghee in biryani pot. Add onions & ground shallots, fry till golden brown.
2. Add mint, coriander & green chillies. Saute well.
3. Add ground tomatoes, turmeric & chilli powder. Cook till oil separates & masala browns nicely like in video.
4. Add marinated chicken, saute & close for 5 mins in medium flame. Add 1.5 cups water and cook for 15 mins till meat is cooked.
5. Now for rice water - Ratio is 1:2. For 4 cups rice, we need 8 cups total. Already added 1.5 cups for chicken, so now add only 6 cups water.
6.Once water boils, check salt. Add soaked rice (drain water 10 mins before).
7. Close & cook for 10 mins in medium flame. Open, mix gently, add 4 tsp ghee.
8. Close & keep in dum for 25 mins like I showed in video.

And your super flavourful Naatu Kozhi Biryani is ready! 😋🔥

Dodgers free agent Alex Vesia has shaved his beard after one season 😂

Hopefully he is only changing his appearance and not the uniform he’ll be wearing next year!

Do you think Vesia will re-sign with LA?

Monster Mash family fun!

India’s air pollution crisis has reached alarming levels, with all top 25 cities in real-time global pollution rankings belonging to India. The November 4 data shows Rajasthan’s Bikaner topping the list with a staggering Air Quality Index (AQI) of 732, followed by Sonipat in Haryana at 668 and Rohtak at 654. All 25 cities were classified under the ‘Hazardous’ category.

The crisis extends far beyond Delhi-NCR. Ghaziabad recorded an AQI of 560, Greater Noida 553, Hisar 552 and Moradabad 551, while New Delhi stood at 546. Noida registered 519, and cities including Bhiwani, Bulandshahr, Bathinda, Meerut and Aligarh also featured among the world’s 25 worst in the snapshot. The figures reveal an alarming concentration of pollution across Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi.

The readings are particularly concerning because an AQI above 300 is already considered hazardous under the US system. Several northern Indian cities have crossed 500, entering levels beyond the standard AQI scale. However, the rankings are live and can change throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s official Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) AQI climbed to 373 on Wednesday morning, with 21 monitoring stations recording readings above 400. The figures differ from those on AQI.in because the platforms use different methodologies and reporting periods. Stage II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) is already in force across Delhi-NCR, bringing tighter pollution-control measures.

Experts attribute the worsening conditions to a combination of vehicular emissions, industrial pollution, construction dust, crop-residue burning and unfavourable weather. Falling temperatures and weak winds are trapping pollutants closer to the ground, turning large parts of northern India into a vast pollution hotspot.

The health implications are serious. Fine particulate matter, known as PM2.5, can penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream, increasing the risk of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
