UD School of Music

This summer, UD senior Rachel Herway took her research beyond the classroom, exploring Sacred Harp singing through fieldwork in Philadelphia and Alabama. 🎶

An honors global studies major with minors in musical studies and Latin American and Iberian studies, her research gave her hands-on experience in ethnomusicology and new confidence she’ll bring to her final year at UD and the UD Concert Choir.
