12 years. 🖤
12 years of growing together, chasing dreams, making memories, taking risks, celebrating wins and finding our way through the difficult moments in life.

We’ve changed so much over the years, but one thing never has: we’ve always had each other, no matter what. Here’s to everything we’ve been through, everything we’ve built, and all the chapters still ahead of us.

Haryana provides ₹3,200 every month—₹38,400 annually—to eligible adults with dwarfism under its ‘Bauna Bhatta Yojana’. The assistance is a monthly allowance, rather than a one-time ₹38,400 payment. A state government release dated October 27 reaffirmed the scheme’s benefit and eligibility requirements.

Eligibility depends on specific height limits and medical certification. Men must measure 3 feet 8 inches or less, while women must measure 3 feet 3 inches or less, according to the department’s guidelines. Applicants must also be at least 18 years old, be domiciled in Haryana and have lived in the state for at least one year before applying. A certificate issued by the Civil Surgeon confirming dwarfism is mandatory.

Officially listed as “Allowance to Dwarfs”, the scheme has operated since June 2006, when beneficiaries received ₹300 a month. Successive revisions increased the amount, with the department listing the ₹3,200 monthly rate as effective from November 1, 2025.

For those seeking assistance, the government’s latest release says applications should be submitted online, followed by submission of verified documents to the relevant office. Applicants can approach their District Social Welfare Officer for guidance on eligibility, documentation and the application process.

A novel obsession.
