A big thanks to Michael from @kennedystimbers for his time showing us and the team through his incredible operation, explaining different processes to achieve different looks and helping us select pieces that have come from Brisbane coal wharves for our BOOYONG 1409 project, one of our most significant commissions to date, an American farmhouse inspired homestead and associated buildings that could be straight out of Napa Valley.

Beautifully balanced composition of structure, materiality and light. Architecture with a real sense of place!

That’s bloody crazy stuff. How good does it look and how good to know it has been recycled into something that will last generations. Well done team
