5 MILLION VIEWS. And somehow, that’s not even the most extraordinary part. ❤️

When I shared my original coming-out article from 1997, I thought I was sharing a piece of my past.

I never imagined how many of you would tell me it was a piece of yours, too.

The memories you’ve shared, the stories you’ve carried, the lives that were changed in ways I never knew about... it’s been overwhelming in the most beautiful way.

Almost 30 years later, I’m learning that the impact of that moment reached so much further than I ever realized.
Our history matters. Our visibility matters. And the people who helped pave the way matter.

Thank you for reminding me of that. And thank you for trusting me with your stories. I will carry them with me. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

PISCES ♓️ November 2nd - 8th Tarot Reading

When people say they’re not from Florida, what they mean is they’re from Miami. Tampa. Orlando. Jacksonville.

Look at the map. Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orange (Orlando), Duval (Jacksonville), Leon (Tallahassee), and Hillsborough (Tampa) are among the counties that went blue. It’s rural Florida that carried Byron Donalds, the man who:

Voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act
Voted to object to certifying the 2020 election results
Voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, which cut Medicaid and SNAP
Voted against the law that capped insulin at $35 a month for seniors on Medicare
Voted against the Respect for Marriage Act
Voted against background check bills and the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act
Said “during Jim Crow, the Black family was together”

Now you see why Miami people say they’re from Miami, not Florida.

FOREVER ICONIC ❤️

From Trondheim 2025 to Sapporo 2007 — ten editions of the World Championships that I’ve been lucky (old 😅) enough to watch, witness and remember.

Choosing just one unforgettable moment is almost impossible. But these are the ones that have truly stayed with me.

Now, what matters most is YOUR memories.

Drop in the comments the moments that have stayed with you, the ones you’ll never forget. If we have enough answers, I’ll put together another edition featuring your choices!
