SONIC LEGACIES | Episode 5

For Episode 5 of Sonic Legacies, we feature legendary music producer Kavi Alexander, who reflects on his engagement with music and the journey behind the establishment of Water Lily Acoustics.

Known for its distinctive approach to recording, Water Lily Acoustics has brought together diverse musical traditions and artists, creating recordings that invite us to listen more closely — to the texture, depth, atmosphere, and emotion within sound.

Originally presented and recorded in 2021, this conversation is part of the Dhi FACE archives.

Sonic Legacies explores sound beyond music as performance — looking at sound through memory, culture, technology, history, and the experience of listening.
