STARRING NICOLAS CAGE โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ Now playing on the Criterion Channel! Pioneer of a style of acting he calls โ€œnouveau shamanic,โ€ Cage stretches the boundaries of screen performance to their limits, pursuing a heightened, kabuki-like expressionism that is instinctive, abstract, and thrillingly unpredictable. That he has deployed this approach across offbeat independent projects and major Hollywood blockbusters alike makes him a truly one-of-a-kind star: the leading man as wild man, a force so galvanic that, even when working with major directors like Spike Jonze (ADAPTATION.), David Lynch (WILD AT HEART), Werner Herzog (BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS), and Martin Scorsese (BRINGING OUT THE DEAD), he often emerges as the filmโ€™s co-auteur, reshaping its texture through his live-wire physicality and risk-taking choices few other actors would dare attempt.
Vice President #JDVance is speaking out following #Republicansโ€™ losses in the 2026 #midterm elections! In a lengthy post on X, Vance claimed many Americans who voted for #Trump in 2024 switched to #Democrats in 2026, citing frustration over the war, inflation, Americaโ€™s priorities, and U.S. relations with Israel. Vance argued that Republican turnout wasnโ€™t the main issue, stating, โ€œThe reason we lost is the war.โ€ (SWIPE) (๐Ÿ“ธ: @gettyimages)
