In 1910, a cat named Dewey d*ed after 12 years with his owner and was buried at Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery in Dedham, Massachusetts, one of the oldest pet cemeteries in the United States. His gravestone, which still stands more than 116 years later, reads:

“He was only a cat, but he was human enough to be a great comfort in hours of loneliness and pain.”

Little is known about the owner, and some believe “Dewey” may have been the family name rather than the cat’s. Either way, the words show how deeply people have loved their pets for generations.

«Я так скучал…» — классика жанра, которая прилетает ровно тогда, когда ты только-только начала о нем забывать.

Но давай снимем розовые очки: две недели полного молчания. Ни одного «как ты?», ни одного знака внимания. И вдруг — это внезапное явление.
Что это на самом деле? Внезапное озарение или просто банальная скука?

Bollywood actor Imran Khan landed in trouble after participating in an SIR protest in Mumbai. The Bombay High Court questioned his participation, citing his OCI status. Following the court’s strong remarks, Imran Khan tendered an unconditional apology and assured the court that he would not participate in any such protests in the future. The next hearing is scheduled for December 7. ❤️

Two performance Wednesday - on the 65 bus to Richmond station, train to Waterloo, then tube to Leicester Square and into the Wyndham’s Theatre for @hayfeverplay matinee and into my dressing room and costume. Noel Coward’s tongue in cheeky song about the theatre playing in my head.
