Hello Loci - Mapping the Local Ecosystem

Something new is taking shape.

We’ve begun building the Hello Loci website, a map designed to connect people with the places and producers that feed us across Greater Perth 🧭

The vision is simple: a living map where you can discover local growers, community gardens, refill stores, orchards, beekeepers, and more - all part of one interconnected ecosystem 🌱

Each marker tells a story:

🥕 Grower’s Market - baskets of fresh produce and friendly faces

🌿 Community Garden - neighbours tending raised beds together

🍎 Local Orchard - families harvesting fruit under the trees

♻️ Organic Refill Store - jars of grains and containers refilled with care

🐝 Local Beekeeper - hives humming among wildflowers

These places and more, form the roots of a local network - one that grows stronger the more we connect 🌾

We’re now refining categories, and how the map works: how you’ll search, filter, and add your own place 🔍📍

Before we go too far in any one direction, we’d love to hear your thoughts 💭💡

What would make this map most useful, most human, most local?

Or maybe you'd like to join the team to help Hello Loci become the trusted community connection platform we hope it will be 🌟

Comment 'Local' & I will send you the link 🧑‍💻🤳

Hello Loci is being built for all of us.
Let’s shape it together 🤝
