I hate foxes—I hate them, and I will hate them for the rest of my life. Yesterday morning, I made the most traumatic discovery of my life: three rabbits dead in the grass, two guinea pigs dead in the grass, and one rabbit missing—all the cages destroyed and damaged by two foxes. Today, I saw some good news: the missing rabbit is back. She was wandering around the garden; she survived, though her mother and brother didn't. I saw the fear in my dead rabbits' eyes—what they must have gone through, being shaken and chased until they died. That look gives me the shivers; I can hardly bear to think about what they endured—my babies. It was a battlefield; they were all lying there helplessly in the grass. And the worst part is, the foxes didn't take them away—they didn't take anything. They just killed for fun. I was absolutely devastated. Foxes, you will never have a place in my heart again. Here are all the victims. All dead and helpless in the grass, with a traumatizing look in their eyes. You will remain in my heart forever.
